How do you come up with your Review Scores?
Our games are scored on a base 10 scale, and our reviews are broken in to seven parts; Story, Graphics, Sounds, Controls, Presentation, Lasting Appeal/Replay Value, and Summary. Each part is scored individually, (with the exception of the Summary) and the scores are averaged together to create the the games score. We use ten reviews to determine a games official review, and the above process is repeated for each review. The reviews are then averaged to get the official review for that game.
Do Review Score's keep change as more reviews are added?
As mentioned above every review we accept and approve will be averaged into the total review score. . Once we have ten approved reviews for any one game, the games average score is then posted as the official review score. Once all ten reviews are approved no other reviews will be accepted . We us a number of sources to consider if a persons is right to review games, and one of the sources we consider is a persons GamerTag, and/or PlayStation Network ID. These sources are major factors when determining if someone is right to review a specific game.
Why do you need my Gamer tag?
We use GamerTags and/or PSNID's to determine what types of games a person plays, how often they are playing, and to see the amount of Trophies/Achievements they have obtained. We use this information to determine which games would be relevant for any one person to review. We also look at how often a person comments on articles and post in forums. We also look at the quality of post and comments, and us them to determine if a person would be a good fit to review games.
